BR1-14: The Story of Chocolate (Daynes, 2004)

"'Yum!" he cried, sucking the pulp. "Yuck!" he added, spitting out a bean."' (p.6).

This book is about history of chocolate. A thousand years ago, people didn't know about chocolate. The first discover was who lived in rainforest farmers. Monkeys knew cocoa is yummy and eat it, so farmers imitated them. It was the start of chocolate history. They made drink of cacao beans, and it became valuable. It improved many times, so chocolate became made now. Nowadays, there are many kinds of chocolates, and still the kinds are increasing. I like white chocolate the best.
