Essay 2-01b: The Best Place to Feel Childhood

The good place to feel childhood is Mt. Dokkosan who often went to there in childhood. It stands near the Kumamoto Station and it adjoins the “I” elementary school. It’s not high, so people can climb easily. On the top of mountain, there is a hill. Its name is “Hill of the prayer.” It’s small hill, so people can also climb it easily. And the view from there is really nice. Mt. Dokkosan has many faces. In spring, there are many cherry blossoms and it’s beautiful to see. In summer, the tree’s leaf become deep green, so people can get clean fresh air. In fall, the tree gets autumn colors, so it’s colorful and people can enjoy it. And in winter, there is enveloped cool air, so the view seems more clearly.

One special event the cross-country race is held in winter school festival at which adjoins with Mt. Dokkosan. And the elementary school’s pool is on a bit higher place, so they were swimming next to the mountain. The raccoon dog appears sometimes, and one time, a monkey haunted at a schoolyard, so Mt. Dokkosan has rich nature. As I wrote on intro paragraph, there is a small hill on the top of Mt. Dokkosan, so children always enjoying grass skiing. There is no trees in front of the hill, so they can enjoy viewing when they sliding. There is also good for dog to enjoy running, so often there are people who visit there with their dogs.

The people who visit Mt. Dokkosan after a log time may feel the majesty of nature. It hasn’t changed anything even though people get ages and they changed from before. The children who playing at there may not think about nature now but if they visit there again in the future, they will impressed of nature.

Mt. Dokkosan doesn’t have many visitors now, but people should visit more. There are any shops or building near around the Mt. Dokkosan, but people can enjoy. For example, buy sandwiches and drink at bakery about 5 minutes from Mt. Dokkosan by car, and eat them on the top of mountain with nice viewing may feel good.
