BR1-12: The Amazing Adventure of Ulysses (Webb & Amery, 2003)

'"Oh Ulysses, it really is you," said Penelope, smiling." (p.63).

Ulysses, a king of Greek, set sail to rescue a stolen Greek princess, Helen. This is adventure story and it is based on legends. Ulysses got reach Troy using the Troy’s wooden horse. This is legend which we learned world history. And there are also many legend gods and monsters, too. For example, there are Poseidon, a god of the sea, and Scylla, a six head monster. Ulysses fights with kings and help Helen.

BR 1-01: Stories of Monsters (Punter, 2004)





'"The ice m...m...monster got them' he stuttered" (p.20).


There are three stories in this book. First story is about the monster of under the bed. Ben Boggle always fears the growl which every night hears. But its growl is not of big scary monster...? This story is about cutie smart monster. This book has another ice monster and swamp monster, too.
