Typing: What classes I will take next term

I will take exactly same classes to last Spring Semester. In Monday, I will take Introduction to European and American history, History of English literature, Reading, and Speaking. In Tuesday, I will take Japanese modern history, History of Western art, and cultural anthropology. In Wednesday, I’ll take only Writing. In Thursday, I will take International society and Japan and Introduction to English study. And in Friday, I will take Psychology and Introduction to International law.  In last semester, I dropped Introduction to International law, so I’ll study hard to get all credit. And I got S only two in last semester, so I want to get more S.

In these days, many people use computers. The things can do with computers are increasing. Computer became useful media for everyone, but there are not only good points.

First, many professors use computer in their classes. So students are required to have skills of using computer. In these days, even elementary school's curriculum has classwork of learning with computer. In this university, there is the class names "Introduction to data processing." This class also uses computer and it is about basic skills of learning with computer. In this class, students can learn how to use Word, Excel, and how to make graphs or chart. So basically, freshman take this class.

This English department has another classes using computer in the classes. For example, in Writing class, students uses computer every classes at computer room. They mainly write essays, typing posts, and book reviews in this classwork and homework. Blogging 10000 words in a semester is needed. Listening class also uses computer in classes every classwork. They do dictation using of their own DVD. They also use microphone and check each pronunciation. And they also use microphone when do Speaking homework. EnglishCentral is useful Internet site and their homework is getting certain scores to use the site. When they speak to computer, the computer counts score of their pronunciation.  In Reading class, they sometimes use computer. All homework must be using Word, so when they do homework, they have to use computer.

Computer is convenient media, if you know how to use. But if they don’t have basic knowledge about computer, they may not be able to handle it. Working of computer is largely separated into two kinds. One is online work and another is offline work. When you can use Internet on your computer, it is under online. It needs Wi-Fi to connect Internet, but it is not all place have Wi-Fi. So that is not you can't use Internet anywhere. There is a limit to use online computer. So for example, EnglishCentral is also has limit to place of using. But many applications can be used under offline. People can use Word or Excel anywhere if there is not Wi-Fi. Computer is useful, but sometimes it doesn't work if they are not careful like this. This is caution for beginners.

Users becoming addicted is a serious problem in this society. Most people may like net surfing. For example, they like Internet shopping or viewing videos on YouTube when they have free time. But they tend to be using too long time when they do these things. So there are many addicted computer users in these days. Using eyes too long time causes eyesight deteriorates. Not only eyes, neck or shoulder also could be damaged. Another danger of using computer is when they search something on the Internet. There are huge information in the Internet. When they learning from it, they have to judge which information is correct or not.

From these viewpoints, they are many good points when people learning with computers, and there are also points should be taken. If they have correct knowledge, they can learn with computer more effectively. Incorrect knowledge can cause trouble. But if they have correct way to use, computer become useful and convenient media.

Typing: W7 My other classes

I'm taking thirteen classes in this semester. Compare with last year, it's not hard this year because it is less. I like English classes because I feel my English ability is getting better and better. Other classes like psychology class' student number is too many to concentrate in class. So even if I like the class’ contents though, I do not like their class. I like the classes which I can concentrate like Listening III. We can do own works in that class.

University Life

I'm not belonging to any club activity, so I have less friends than other students. But I have many friends from same high school because I graduated from Gakufu High School. I always spend times with these friends, go to classes, eating lunch, and studying together. This year I taking less classes than last year, so I have afford time this year.
